Best Mixed Drinks With Sprite

Mixed drinks are a popular option at any get together where alcohol is served. There are so many possibilities and combinations that it makes the options seemingly limitless. When the night has so many different avenues that it can go down, it makes things all the more fun.

But not knowing which mixed drinks to go with can be something of a confusing and time-consuming endeavor. After all, since there are so many options, it can be easy to get lost when considering all of the combinations that there are.

Narrowing it down to a few certain types of drinks – whiskey based, bourbon based, etc – can be very helpful. It can also be very helpful to even narrow it down to the type of drink you enjoy mixing with. Things like Red Bull, Coca-Cola, and so on. Finding that one commonality can be what starts you down the path towards finding a number of mixed drinks that are up your alley.

Sprite is one of those drinks that can seemingly be combined with almost anything. There are so many mixed drink possibilities with the use of Sprite in them that it takes a list like this to know just which ones are best.

Sassy Sangria

Ingredients:

  • Lemon juice
  • Apple
  • Pear
  • Midori
  • Red Wine
  • Sprite

The Sassy Sangria is a fruity, tropical kind of drink featuring lemon juice, apple, and pear. Mixed with Midori and some red wine – as well as the aforementioned Sprite – comprises the drink. After filling your glass with ice, you pour in the Midori, red wine, and the lemon juice. Give it a stir before adding in the chopped fruits and then top with Sprite. A brief stir and an orange wheel garnish later and you have a tropical, light, fruity drink that really hits the spot.

Cucumber Spritz

Ingredients:

  • EFFEN Cucumber Vodka
  • Sprite

This one is far easier and requires far fewer ingredients to concoct. Combining EFFEN Cucumber Vodka and some sprite in a highball glass over ice creates a light, refreshing drink with a kick. You could also purchase regular vodka and add in cucumber, though it may not have the concentrated cucumber taste that a specific cucumber vodka might add.

The Cucumber Spritz is effortless to make and is a great, tall drink to sip on during a hot summer night. It refreshes and packs a punch that is not overwhelming.

Citrus Splash

Ingredients:

  • Vodka
  • Grapefruit
  • Sprig of mint for garnish
  • Sprite

You may be noticing a trend here with drinks that combine Sprite: they feature acidic fruits and a good deal of vodka. The lemon-lime flavor of the Sprite pairs well with other fruits and the light, clear liquid aspect of the Sprite pairs well with a clear alcohol such as vodka.

For the Citrus Splash, you combine the aforementioned Sprite and vodka as well as a splash of grapefruit and a mint sprig for garnish. Add all of your ingredients into a glass filled with ice and garnish with the mint for that little bit of freshness. A great, citrus-y, cool, light drink for summer parties.

Snow Cone Drinks

Ingredients:

  • Grenadine
  • Blue Curacao
  • Sprite
  • Crushed Ice

If you are looking for something a bit different or aren’t a fan of vodka in general, this is certainly one worth trying. Mix Grenadine, blue curacao, and Sprite in a smaller glass filled with finely crushed ice. This delicious treat gives all the feeling eating snow cones at the carnival but with the adult beverage punch of alcohol built in. It is wonderfully refreshing and a break from all of the vodka-infused drinks that you may typically see Sprite mixed with.

Pink Fruit

Ingredients:

  • Tequila Blanco
  • Triple Sec
  • Lime Juice
  • Grapefruit Juice
  • Sprite
  • Angostura Bitters

Another drink that strays away from the all-too-common vodka mixtures, the Pink Fruit combines Tequila Blanco and triple sec as well as lime juice, grapefruit juice, Sprite, and a few dashes of Angostura Bitters. You combine all of the ingredients save for the Sprite and shake it. Add in the Sprite and garnish with a lime or grapefruit (something citrusy) and enjoy.

Pink Whitney

Ingredients:

  • New Amsterdam Vodka
  • Newman’s Own Pink Lemonade

This one has gained popularity recently online because of a popular podcast. It is arguably one of the simplest recipes on this list but one of the tastiest as well. Fill your glass with ice before adding New Amsterdam vodka (others will work but for a true Pink Whitney, it has to be New Amsterdam). Add pink lemonade – preferably Newman’s Own pink lemonade for the authentic experience – and stir. This delicious drink will have you refilling again and again but be careful: it packs a punch and it can sneak up on you.

Shark Bite

Ingredients:

  • Malibu Rum
  • Blue Curacao
  • Grenadine
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Sprite

Going back to the non-vodka mixes, this one is very unique but very tasty. Combine Malibu rum with blue curacao and grenadine, add pineapple juice and sprite. Mix all of the contents together in a glass filled with ice and add a cherry for garnish. Citrusy yet still packing a huge punch, this drink can kick the night into gear in a hurry. Perfect in a tropical setting as well.

Red Cherry Stag Fizz

Ingredients:

  • Jim Beam Black Jerry
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Lemon Sour
  • Sprite

This one features Red Stag by Jim Beam Black Cherry, some cranberry juice, lemon sour, and Sprite. Take all of the ingredients and combine them in a glass filled with ice, then stir all of the ingredients together until your drink has a orange-red hue to it. Add a lime wedge for garnish and enjoy the citrusy drink. Great for outdoor venues or for relaxing on the beach with a drink in your hand and the sun on your skin.

GinnInnJuice

Ingredients:

  • Inniskillin Vidal
  • Peach Nectar
  • Gin
  • Sprite

A unique drink that features gin and Inniskillin Vidal, you add peach nectar to it and top it off with sprite. This is best done in a cocktail shaker, adding all the ingredients together save the Sprite. You then add in ice, shake it up, and strain it over ice into a glass before topping with Sprite and adding a peach wedge for garnish.

This drink is a much different taste and remains very light despite the gin. The appearance almost looks like it should feature banana given its light yellow hue but the peach will keep it refreshing and light, making it enjoyable until the very last drop.
