Blueberry-Infused Vodka

Every blueberry vodka drink benefits from homemade blueberry-infused vodka. It’s really not hard to prepare, so even the most inexperienced bartenders and mixologists can make it. It just takes some time and patience!

Ingredients and equipment

  • 1 part fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 parts vodka
  • Large mason jar
  • Large spoon or muddling tool
  • Cheesecloth or coffee filter


  • Wash and dry fresh blueberries, or thaw frozen blueberries in a bowl. Add the berries (And the juice if you’re using frozen berries) to the bottom of the mason jar and use the muddling tool or spoon to smash them a few times so that the juices are released
  • Pour the vodka over the berries. (Use twice as much vodka as blueberries) Make sure that the vodka is completely covering the berries. Then, tightly seal the lid and give the jar a shake
  • Store jar in a cool, dark place
  • Check to see if any berries are floating on the top after a few hours. If they are, dispose of them
  • Let the mixture infuse for 2 weeks to a month
  • Strain through coffee filter or cheesecloth, discarding the berries
  • Store blueberry-infused vodka in freezer

Banging Blueberry Lemonade

It seems that everybody on the internet has already figured out that lemonade and blueberries are a perfect match, but what sets this recipe apart from the others is that it actually has a fun blue color.


  • 2 oz. Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka
  • 3 oz. Blue Cream Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Fresh ripe blueberries
  • 1/3 teaspoon sugar
  • Lemon peel and sprig of fresh mint (garnish)


  • Add lemon vodka, blue cream soda, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Stir until well combined
  • Fill a glass with ice and blueberries
  • Pour cocktail over ice
  • Add a dusting of sugar and add a few blueberries to the top
  • Garnish with lemon peel and sprig of mint

  • 5 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 5 oz. Cranberry juice
  • 5 oz. Pineapple juice
  • 3 teaspoons Grenadine
  • 1\4 c. fresh or frozen blueberries (garnish)


  • Add all ingredients (except the garnish) to a cocktail shaker with 1 cup of ice
  • Shake for around 30 seconds

  • 1/4 c. fresh blueberries

  • 7Up or Sprite
  • Fresh blueberries and fresh mint (garnish)


  • Add blueberries and torn mint leaves to the bottom of a tall glass and muddle them

  • 1 lb. Cubed, seedless watermelon
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Zero-Calorie Truvia sweetener
  • 1 1/2 c. vodka
  • 1 1/2 c. fresh blueberries
  • 3/4 c. mint leaves
  • 1/4 c. Lime juice
  • 1 liter seltzer water


  • Add watermelon to a blender and puree until smooth
  • Use a cheesecloth to line a strainer and then pour the puree through it
  • Stir the Truvia into the watermelon puree
  • Add vodka, blueberries, mint leaves and lime juice to a large pitcher and muddle to release the oils in the mint leaves
  • Pour in the watermelon puree and stir
  • Pour in half a bottle of the seltzer and stir, then add more to taste if needed
